Art Requests
Across FlowFuse it will be a common occurrence that we need visual content created. These can be part of development tasks (where you're comfortable doing the development work, but less doing the graphic/illustrative design work) or social/marketing materials.
Likely places this will be required are:
- Tiles for Blog Posts
- Tiles & Associated Graphics/Assets for Webinars & AMA Sessions
- Diagrams for Presentations
- Social Media Adverts & Graphics
- YouTube Video Thumbnails
- Product Illustrations & Graphics
Creating an Art Request
Submit all art requests through the Promo & Artwork Request Form. See Requesting Work from Marketing for full details, including how requests are prioritized.
When submitting an art request, be sure to include:
- Type: What type of asset is this? Blog Tile? YouTube Thumbnail?
- Format: Image (e.g.
.png,.jpg), Video (e.g..mp4), Animation (e.g..gifor Lottie Animation) - Deadline: When you need the asset, and why if the date is fixed (e.g. an event or release)
- Context: Where the asset will be used and any reference material
Each submission creates a task in the marketing team's Asana project, where progress is tracked.
Delivery of Art
While the art request will include a delivery method of the assets, please be sure to also always export the asset to the Design directory so others, non-designers, can find and reuse these assets.
